Opposite the red birch wall in this Minnesota interior designed home is a stacked slate fireplace.  The natural materials add warmth to the space, despite the room’s high, vaulted ceilings.  Floating benches flanking the hearth, accentuates the horizontal line.

A creative use of materials transforms this downtown loft which was once a vanilla shell.  The color was inspired by the color of the mosaic tile in the Kitchen.  The texture of the wool and silk rug add the warmth that was needed to call this home.
