Our client had just left the suburbs for a city loft, but her new industrialized surroundings lacked the comfort, warmth and color she craved.
Warm up an industrial-toned space and create continuity in this open-plan Minneapolis condo.

The first step was to discuss this fun bachelorette's aesthetics and interests. This conversation helped uncover direction for colors, textiles, materials and custom innovations to accommodate the important elements that make up her lifestyle. Customization helped make this loft a home in two ways. First, a custom floor-to-ceiling fireplace surround created a focal point. Wrapped in ribbon mahogany squares and trimmed with stainless steel strips, the natural graining and checkboard pattern of the wood added texture and warmth while also tying in to the rest of the loft's color palette.

Secondly, Brandi design a custom built-in bookcase which let this loft owner store, as well as display, her collection of books—something very important to her. Accommodating a loveseat against a subtle splash of accent color let this hardworking homeowner put up her feet and relax in a cozy haven in the open floor plan space.
